What are the certification criteria?

  1. Full attendance at an appropriate training course
  2. Completion of a multi-choice question paper (*)
  3. Submission of a Six Sigma Improvement Project using a standard template *

(*) minimum requirements must be met

Does the certification contribute to other qualifications?

Jaguar Land Rover has linked with the University of Bradford to offer academic assessment and the opportunity to earn 20 credits (CATS) towards an MSc in Engineering and Process Excellence.  The 5-day Green Belt training forms the basis of the Technical Accreditation Scheme.  Once a project has been completed, a technical report of approximately 25 pages must be written, critiquing the methodology as applied within the project.  If you’d like more information about TAS and the MSc, please get in touch. 

Are there other courses I can do to support my training?

We offer programmes in a broad range of areas.  Team Working, Team Leadership and Lean are great complementary courses at Green Belt level. ***link to Leadership and Team Working Page

I’m interested in going higher than Green Belt - what are the options?

Black Belt training is the next level and we offer open and in-house programmes.  Design for Six Sigma is also a great option to consider especially if you’re involved with Product or Process Design.  Call us to discuss where you’d like to get to.
